Nets for Life Inspiration Fund
Nets for Life - A Present during the Christmas Season?
During Special Meeting, Holy Communion's Cheney Hall was completely bordered with butcher paper bedecked with handprints. Each handprint represented a child that would die that day from malaria. It was resolved that the Diocese of West Tennessee would support Nets for Life Inspiration Fund, a grassroots effort to educate, engage, and unite Episcopalians to support the Millenium Development Goals through the fight against malaria. Each $12 gift to Nets for Life will purchase one net large enough to save three lives for up to five years. The Diocese has encouraged each parish to set their own goals toward purchasing lifesaving nets for communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Please visit the official Inspiration Fund website for information on the program. To purchase nets as a gift ($12 each net) and send an E card confirmation click here (this works great!).
